We all know vampires walk among us. Castiel Academy has been right under human noses, hiding in the swamp with no one the wiser. However, things change when a new school sets itself up not too far away. Acheron Prep is full of creatures still believed to be fairy tails. The students and staff range from witches to a demigod masquerading as something else entirely. A lot of this school's population see the vampires as a threat. Some even want them all but terminated. A fair share of the fledlings and vampires of the Academy share similar opinions of Acheron Prep. Still, what none of them know is that there is something a lot deeper going on between the Headmaster of Acheron and the High Priestess of Castiel.
Alexios likes adventure and loves women. He also like pretending to be something he isn't so that no one digs too deep into his past. So on of his little adventures, he was pretending to be a human teenager and met Adrianna and they grew to be great friends. Well things when south when she was Marked and realized that Lex wasn't what he appeared to be. Lex reacted the only way he knew how. When she questioned him of his origins, he lashed out on her. Not only afraid of certain aspects of his past being revealed, he didn't want her to treat him different. Now he's the permanent head of Acheron Prep with teen who is both a problem and a blessing.
Adrianna hasn't seen him since that fateful night when he hurt her in every possible way. Now she's the High Priestess of Castiel Academy and the mother to an extremely gifted daughter. That daughter is her pride and joy, but also the key to a secret she has kept from everyone for almost two decades. Adrian doesn't know who her fathers. Adrianna knows but has refused to tell the girl. So the fact that Acheron Prep has moved to New Orleans and the headmaster happens to be an old friend, flame, and bitter memory, things get a little awkward.
None of that even begins to hit the tip of the iceberg of problems. No the problem facing both schools will actually affect more than just the Heads of the schools and their direct responsibilities. A human by the name of Bruce Jerkins has somehow found out about the magical world and that they are living among some of these creatures. He is bent on exposing both schools in an act of vengeance for a wrong that had been thrown at him.
